Bmw Soft Close Doors Not Working

It has to actually be closed like a normal door for the feature to make the noise like it is working.

It worked properly for 2 days now the door wont stay closed again. All other doors work properly. The recent cases follow a class action lawsuit filed against bmw several years ago which also claimed that the soft close door feature can mangle fingers and needs to be equipped with sensors. Ok i have searched and maybe i am just bad at it but has anyone had problems with their soft close feature.

He says he reset some codes and then told me to spray it with wd40. Not sure what it could be. The door will not close. This happened 2 days ago and i had to drive to a bmw mechanic holding the door driving down the highway.

Any idea how to reset these codes that he stated he did earlier to get. I have my front passenger door not really performing properly. Simply close any of the four doors lightly and the system will automatically take it over without any unpleasant noise as bmw promises. Working principle rectifier duration.
